Throughout the year, RFD members and their families participate in events to promote fire safety, educate the public, and raise money to support the Department.  

Three supporting groups hold fund-raisers including the annual firefighter's ball, clam boils, steak fry, barbecue chicken dinners,

and other fun events.

The Department provides a variety of educational events and program throughout the school year for local students. One program is participation in the annual fire Massachusetts fire safety poster contest.
